Why Coco Peat?

Coco peat is a natural fibre made out of coconut husks. The extraction of the coconut fibre from husks gives us this by-product called coco peat. Coco peat is a 100% natural growing medium. This coco peat dried in the natural sun is processed to produce different items namely coco peat block, coco peat briquettes, coconut coir, coco peat disc, and so on. This makes an excellent growing medium for hydroponics, or container plant growing.
  • It is a natural soil less hydroponic growing medium.
  • Coco peat is used for a wide range of hydroponic crop production throughout the world including : Tomato, Cucumber, Eggplant, Capsicum, Zucchini, Strawberry, Melons, Carnation, Rose, Gerbera, Gypsophila, Lisianthus, Chrysanthemum, etc.
  • No harmful environmental impact. 100% Organic.
  • Coco peat serves as an organic alternative to Rockwool and Perlite media without the environmental disposal issues.
  • Hydroponic crop production using Coco peat offers the opportunity to consistently maximize yield and quality with minimal environmental impact associated with the utilization of this renewable resource.
  • Excellent quality and high yield vegetable and cut flower crops.
  • The high water holding capacity provides a buffer in high temperatures and high crop load demand without compromising air supply.
  • Cost Effective.
  • The presence of organic compounds in Coco peat can stimulate root growth and offer some natural resistance to plant disease.
